This fabric is a stretch denim we used for the wide-leg Ash Curve pattern sample and I am really happy with the decision to use it. Birdie is growing a lot and I think the addition of some stretch in the denim will help this make last her longer. Like many novels, Charlotte’s Web has also faced its challenges, with groups hoping to ban the novel. A case in Kansas cited the novel’s use of talking animals as a reason to ban it from school libraries. The main conflict of the story is finding a way to keep Wilbur from being slaughtered.
Plus, she has the special privilege of giving him a name. Basically, without Fern, Wilbur would have been on the butcher's block. Fern Arable is a character from the book and film franchise Charlotte’s Web. Fern is the daughter of Nancy and John, and a little sister to Avery. She is also known to be the owner of eleven piglets from a mother with 10 teats. Her father almost killed the eleventh pig but Fern stopped him and offered to take care of the pig.
